We wrote this on 29 November 2017, when we revealed to our FB followers for the first time what we had been preparing for them for a while:
We filled champagne bottles with the beer we are really most proud of and we brewed it for the first time a few years ago. This was at a time when the craft beer scene in Slovenia was still in its infancy.
It was originally brewed under the name “Nori Franc” (Crazy Franc). It is probably not superfluous to say that many Slovenes with the name Franc identified very much with this beer. Over the years, we renamed it Maximus. Why? The name itself says – maximum pleasure, maximum effort, maximum top quality raw materials and almost the maximum level of alcohol.
This year we wanted to do something brand new & different. For the first time in our history, we decided to fill elegant champagne bottles with Maximus beer. We also designed a unique image and added two top-quality outer packagings to top it all off.
