DEVELOPMENT OF SOMETHING GREAT

GET TO KNOW THE SMART BREWERY PROJECT

The development of a smart brewery under the auspices of a consortium of five companies is underway. Chipolo, Mithraeum, GNS Plus, Lotrič Metrology and Pivovarna Vizir are participating.

The listed companies have a lot of experience and knowledge, each in their own fields. The goal is to develop a fully automatic smart brewery as well as cover the complete brewing process from the preparation of raw materials to the final packaging and tracking on the market. It is one of the most automated small breweries in the world, with support throughout the process.

Because man is usually the weakest link, technology will be involved in the process at every turn for support, guidance, and monitoring. We develop both mobile applications as well as web and remote access to the system.

Smart Micro Brewery 5.0

The goal of the PMP 5.0 project is the automation and digitisation (integration of measuring sensors at critical workflow locations) of all key work processes, which will be able to computer-monitor and control individual beer processing and brewing processes. This will significantly reduce the possibility of errors, while ensuring the traceability and repeatability of brewing processes, which will ensure the constant quality of the final product. The integrated IT system solution, which will be modified for the needs of the microbrewery in the phase of setting up a demo pilot project, can be applied to other industries and work processes based on similar work procedures, thus ensuring the broadness and sustainability of the DP project.

Slovenian high-tech companies Chipolo d.o.o., Mithareum d.o.o., GNS Plus d.o.o., Vizir d.o.o. and Lotrič Metrology d.o.o. joined forces to work on the project.

The project is co-financed with the help of the European Regional Development Fund: www.eu-skladi.si and the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology: www.mgrt.gov.si. Amount of total operation costs: 2,976,675.00 EUR, amount of co-financing: EUR 1,342,511.60

The investment – the creation of the website – is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund through a voucher for digital marketing.
